Ever had a project that is outside of your comfort zone! Do not know how to complete a project which is started but not completed by others. You have taken over and need to complete as quickly as possible. Tried to complete the project but the outcome is not what you expected.
Drywall missing may be one of these techniques which you may not have developed. Attached is the as found picture then completed picture.
The first step is to sand down the rough edges.
Next drywall ...mud is applied to encase the drywall crevices.
Thin layers of mud are added and sanded between passes and the room is kept warm to have faster drying times. Normally three passes are done.
In the event of inside, outside corners or joints drywall tape is used.
